Guided fly fishing trips
A guide trip with Yellowstone Fishing Guides means fishing with an experienced angler, and somebody who can lead you to places you may not find on your own. We specialize in guiding anglers of all skill levels and abilities. We want to teach you new techniques and ways of catching fish!
Guided Trip Options:
Walk Trips:
A walk trip means experiencing the river on foot. You’ll get to be on the water for about 8 hours on full day trips and about 4 hours on half day trips and learn how to get in the right positions to catch fish. We also do fishing trips with more hiking available upon request. We can be highly flexible on a walk trip, so give us a call and lets chat about some options.
Full Day Walk 1 or 2 anglers $600.00
Half Day Walk 1 or 2 angler $400.00
Half Day Walk 3 anglers $450.00
Float Trips:
A float trip means getting in a Ro Skiff and floating the Madison River. A typical float is 7-13 miles which means covering lots of water and casting your fly into ever changing trout habitat. A float is typically 8 hours. The name of the game is reach casting and mending. What a great way to learn how to get good drifts and see lots of water. Float trips can also be customizable if more wading is desired during your trip.
