Fishing is getting better

Thursday, June 14, 2012

All the area waters are improving with the nice weather.  We floated the Madison today, and fishing was great.  We fished mainly nymphs, but managed to catch a couple fish on a parachute adams.  The water visibility was very good, and the flows are nice.  Look for the dry action to improve daily and more bugs to show up, with Salmonflies right around the corner.

The park waters like the Firehole and Madison have remained consistent and producing lots of fish.  With the warm weather we can expect to see more and more caddis activity.

The rest of June should be very fun fishing with an even more exciting July to come.
